Diane Heart is the Communications and Dissemination Manager at Global Solutions, where she leads the development and delivery of the company’s digital communications across website content, project updates, blogs, insights, social media channels, and analytics-led performance tracking.
Her role supports the clear communication of project progress, partner activity, and delivery milestones across Global Solutions’ innovation work, helping ensure that technical developments are translated into professional, accessible, stakeholder-ready communications. This includes managing website builds and updates, LinkedIn and Instagram communications, blog and insights content, Google Business Profile visibility, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, social media analytics, and the ongoing development of digital content aligned with EAA and WCAG 2.2 standards.
Diane’s communications and dissemination role is built around clear progress communication, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-led visibility across Global Solutions’ innovation work.
Her approach is evidence-led, using analytics and performance data to continuously improve how project activity, learning, and outcomes are communicated.
This approach supports the wider goals of collaborative innovation programmes, where clear dissemination of learning, progress, and outcomes helps partners, funders, and sector stakeholders understand delivery and future potential.
Diane brings more than 30 years of experience in business ownership and delivery to the role.
She began her career in interior design and project management, leading teams across end-to-end projects and coordinating builders, joiners, architects, and other specialists from planning through to completion. That experience shaped her practical, results-driven approach and gave her a strong foundation in leadership, coordination, quality control, technical detail, and delivery under pressure.
She later built a successful career in commercial photography, working for over 15 years across live sites and commercial environments, including roadworks, swimming pools, construction sites, and infrastructure projects. This work developed her ability to document complex, real-world operations with clarity and precision, while working to deadlines and maintaining high standards in the field.
Alongside this, Diane also delivered communications, blog writing, social media support, and LinkedIn training for many businesses over a number of years, helping organisations improve how they present their work and communicate their value clearly and professionally.
Diane is also the founder of The Visual Business Accelerator, a business she built from scratch to focus on website audits, visual compliance, and strategic digital visibility. The work brings together her experience in visual communication, branding, digital content, video production, and performance-led messaging, with a strong emphasis on clarity, structure, usability, and results.
Diane is currently writing a book on photography for business, reflecting her long-standing commitment to helping businesses communicate more effectively through high-quality visual content.
