GEDSI Training Programme

GEDSI Training Programme

This workstream supports safe operations, practical routines and inclusive delivery across Project GANESHA. It helps local teams run systems consistently while embedding gender equality, disability and social inclusion into day-to-day practice.

Purpose

Train local teams to run Project GANESHA systems safely and consistently, with clear handovers to the Battery Technology, Factory & Pilot Sites, and Impact & Growth workstreams.
GEDSI (gender equality, disability and social inclusion) is embedded in day-to-day operations, not treated as an add-on.

Focus

  • Safe, respectful operations and basic safeguarding at each pilot site.
  • Daily operating routines, simple fault reporting, and practical battery handling and care.
  • Basic record-keeping so issues, usage patterns, and inclusion data are visible to the wider project team.

How it connects

  • Operator feedback and fault logs inform the Battery Technology workstream’s design updates and fixes.
  • Skills gaps, training needs, and parts requirements feed into Factory & Pilot Sites planning.
  • Usage, participation, and inclusion data support Impact & Growth, including investor-grade reporting on who benefits and how.

Outcome

A local operating team that can run systems day to day, escalate issues early, and provide grounded evidence for improving and scaling inclusive, investable energy and mobility solutions.
