India Project Coordinator, Project GANESHA

Shivansh, who likes to be known as Shiv, is a Specialist Engineer at P.A.K. Engineering and serves as India Project Coordinator for Project GANESHA.

P.A.K. Engineering is the technology lead for the project, specialising in OEM and special-purpose heat exchangers, including fin-tube and polymer-based systems, and delivering engineering R&D projects that draw on additive manufacturing and 3D printing.

Shivansh coordinates the India side of the work, linking design, prototyping and factory readiness so that new hardware can move quickly from UK design labs into production and deployment.

He has represented P.A.K. Engineering on the most recent Innovate UK GBIP mission to India, meeting government officials and ministers, presenting projects and technology at the British High Commission in Chennai, and contributing ideas to stakeholders shaping national policy.

He also played a key role in setting up the Kathmandu factory for Project GANESHA – a consortium-wide achievement that connects UK design with local manufacturing and deployment, and has presented P.A.K. Engineering’s technology advancements at SANKALP BHARAT ’24, India’s leading climate-tech summit.

Shivansh sees the partnership with Global Solutions as a way to deliver clean technologies that are valuable, reliable and scalable. Our collaboration is focused on replacing fossil-fuelled mass commute with an electric system that is scalable, dependable and affordable.

The technology developed through Project GANESHA is designed to address a deep underlying problem with long-term collateral impacts; together we are building a platform that can grow quickly and perform in real-world conditions.

Away from engineering, Shiv is a keen sports enthusiast who enjoys football, cricket and tennis. He also loves hiking and cycling and recently completed the BRM 200 km ride. When he’s not on a bike or in the lab, you’re likely to find him experimenting in the kitchen.
